Seek, Save Serve, still remain words of challenge and command. However, the motto means more than it did then. Primarily, the motto reaffirms our missional understanding and mandate. It requires us to intentionally give witness to God's love for and interest in all of His creation within and beyond the local church community. Now, the JBWF not only gives focus to the holistic development of  children, (Garland Hall) but is also deeply concerned about the welfare and well being of adolescent girls and women of different ages and stages with different vulnerabilities as well as those affected by specific issues, (Christian and Non-Christian). All persons in situations that restrict, exploit, oppress and marginalise need to know about and experience the transformation that only God can bring to their lives.
